The video is a recording of a 7-day Easter celebration that I witnessed when I lived in Cuenca - former capital city of Spain, the main „headquarters” of the Holy Inquisition. Nowadays it is a small town far from any metropolis for about 150 km. Holy Week is one of a few attractions and most of the residents go out on the streets. Historical events turned into a carnival and you can see flash lights between the Stations of the Cross. On the corners of the streets the baloons and cotton candy are sold.
